The 3 Cities Internet Exchange (3CIX) is an Ethernet-based neutral peering point running on Smartlinx 3 switches in Hutt City, Upper Hutt and Porirua in New Zealand.

By peering at the Exchange you agree to provide routing information about your networks to other Exchange participants to optimise traffic flows across the Exchange. For more details of this agreement see the ExchangeNET Terms and Conditions

In order to participate in 3CIX, you need to be attached to one of the Smartlinx3 switches, have a router capable of running BGP/4, and a block of IP numbers that are yours to route (at least a /24).
